The same colour photograph is repeatedly placed in water and photographed through a layer of bubbles and foam. The unstable surface partially reveals the photograph while disrupting and fragmenting its visibility. Individual bubbles act almost like small lenses, enlarging, distorting or breaking apart parts of the image, while denser areas of foam reduce it to fields of colour and tone.

The resulting photographs retain traces of the original image, shifting between recognition and abstraction. They are assembled into larger photographic fields in which, from a distance, separate images merge into a continuous surface. Up close, the individual photographs reappear through variations in density, interrupted forms and the edges between them.

The work moves between the individual and the collective, the continuous and the fragmented.
What appears as a single surface is constructed from separate photographic encounters, each retaining its own moment while contributing to the larger field.
